Sure, Hellboy was cool, and it was his movie, but the best of the bad was Kroenen. Sideshow is producing at least two - and hopefully more - versions of this dusty dude, and I'm reviewing the Final Battle Kroenen exclusive today. He's extremely nice, and while I haven't had a chance to review the Hellboy yet, I prefer Kroenen on initial impressions. Great sculpt, great outfit, great accessories, tight joints - you can't ask for too much more. Of course, I do, but I'm a nit picker.

BTW, this is one of those 750 exclusives that's still available - if you're thinking about picking one up, do it now rather than waiting for ebay.

You can check it out at the usual:

And sponsor Time and Space Toys had an interesting announcement this week - an exclusive two pack of Army of Darkness figures from Palisades. You can check out the press release in the Sponsor news. Have a great weekend!

Thanks, I've been wanting one but still have been holding off for some reason.

I saw both versions on sideshow's site some time ago, but was sorta confused by the feature lists. They've listed the regular version as have two alternate maskes as well- typo? I know you don't have him yet but isn't the regular version's mask supposed to be removable too?

Yeppers - the regular has a removable mask too, and his comes completely off, front AND back I believe.

From the photos, I think the regular edition mask is better. It seems like there were some minor differences with the head sculpt, but I can't seem to find where I saw the pictures now...
